Fun With Dallin!

Here's Doug and Dallin enjoying our first Family Home Evening in the backyard.  Doug and Dallin played horseshoes and tag.  Dallin loves playing in the backyard.  When I asked him what his favorite room in our new house was, he said, "the backyard".  It has been so nice to have a place for him to run around.  I can't wait until it cools down a bit so we can spend more time outside.
Dallin has loved having his baby brother at home.  He enjoyed testing out the play mat for Amos and loves to lay with Amos when he's playing on his mat.  He has also enjoyed picking out his clothes lately.  Notice the blue plaid shorts with the green striped shirt, nice.  Luckily for me we didn't need to go anywhere that day.  He loves to hide places and create camping spots all over the place, on the couch, on the floor, in the closet or under the end table are the best places to go camping.
When Amos was 2 weeks old, Dallin had his last Tee Ball game.  He had a rough time, he wasn't feeling well plus it was HOT.  We debated on whether or not he could go, but we didn't want him to miss his last game so we went.  Dallin didn't want to run the bases at all, so he would slowly walk the bases, it was pretty funny.  All in all, he really did enjoy tee-ball and seemed to have a great time.  Hopefully next time we can sign him up when it's cooler.

One evening Dallin was making homes for his animals with books, it was so cute, although he wasn't happy when I took pictures.  Grandma Washington bought him some bubbles and he had so much fun playing them in the backyard.  Dallin didn't like that I tried to take pictures of Amos, so he decided it was fun to pose for the camera.

So cute. You've gotta love the Independent Stage. I always give my kids a choice of 2 outfits. Then they feel empowered with the choice, but I still have a little control. I love the animal houses. Good job Dallin.
