Some pictures from June.
June 2011 Highlights:
* We spent a lot of time at the pool, keeping cool.
* Dallin took swimming lessons and is getting more confident in the pool.
* We played and went swimming in our backyard.
* We made popsicles and had fun eating them in the backyard.
* We had a picnic and played at the splash park, Amos preferred to stay away from the water and Dallin loved playing in the water.
* We went to the summer reading kick off at the library; they had a bounce house, petting zoo, balloon animals and more.
* Amos turned 11 months, he learned how to climb up the small slide, he loves eating and trying new foods, he likes to help with dishes & laundry, he loves to play outside, and he loves to go swimming.
* Dallin made Mom a chocolate sandwich to help her feel better, he is such a thoughtful little boy.
* Dallin wanted to go to the "animal museum" again so Melissa took the boys to Cabela’s to see the animals.
* Doug was really busy at work and had to spend a lot of time at the office so the boys and Melissa took food so we could see him. Dallin loves to go to Daddy’s office to eat and draw on the white board.
* Amos took his first two steps June 12th, but hasn’t been brave enough yet to try taking more than a couple steps at a time.
* Dallin loves playing pretend, he pretended to be a doctor and took care of Dan Bear one afternoon.
* We celebrated Father’s Day; Doug is a wonderful dad and loves spending as much time with the boys as he can. We had a lot of yummy food and Dallin made Daddy a turkey sandwich for lunch on Father’s Day and even got brave enough to try one himself.
* Dallin is a great artist, he loves to draw, color and play with play-doh and Amos is beginning to draw on the Doodle Pro.
* We have been reading about the Tree of Life in the Book of Mormon so Doug prepared a Family Home Evening lesson about it and had Dallin pretend to be Nephi walking along the iron rod.
* Doug took Dallin to work late one night and Dallin thought it was really fun to eat at the Waffle House at 10:00 at night with his Daddy.
* We have been in our house for a year and so we had a lot of workers in and out of house trying to get all the warranties taken care of before it was too late.
