We started the month cheering for Duke. Before the games the boys had fun playing basketball together. Dallin would go put his Duke or Jazz jersey on whenever he wanted to play basketball. Amos really loves to dunk the basketball and play with his brother and Daddy.
Here is a video of the boys having fun together. I bought wrapping paper and they had fun playing with it while I was putting the other purchases away. Dallin would roll the wrapping paper from the top of the stairs and Amos would laugh as it rolled down the stairs.
As always we celebrate March Madness with our annual Basketball Family Home Evening and a visit from the basketball fairy. Everyone loved our new Duke shirts. Dallin had fun helping mom make basketball sugar cookies for our FHE treat. Amos enjoyed stealing the unfrosted cookies while we decorated them.
Some fun pictures of the boys from March. Dallin loves to color and will color for hours. Amos is quickly discovering how fun coloring can be and will color with his brother. We had a warm winter so we took advantage of it and spent a lot of time playing outside. We went to the train museum. The boys had fun playing with Daddy when he was home. Dallin threw a toy on our roof and Daddy helped him climb the ladder to find the toy himself.
Amos had so much fun in March. His love for being outside continued to grow and he loved playing in the sand. One of his favorite thing to do is look for the garbage truck every week. As soon as he hears it we have to go outside or find it through the window. The last week of March he got very sick with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. He didn't want to eat or drink anything.
Dallin also had fun in March. We had fun doing preschool activities, going to the library to pick out the perfect book (which according to Dallin is a dinosaur each time, he would look at them all until he picked the one to borrow). Dallin visited the dentist for the first time which went well considering it was his first time. Dallin had so much fun playing outside, he practiced his baseball skills and got pretty good at hitting the ball.
A couple of years ago I took Dallin to the zoo on St. Patrick's Day so this year he thought we should go this year as well. The boys loved seeing all the animals. We had such a fun morning as a family at the zoo.
Our zoo recently got Koala's and we were all excited to go and see them. It was fun to see the new animals from the down under. After having fun at the zoo we went home to get ready for Grandma Hansen to come. Doug had a business trip to London and so Melissa tagged along. So after some family fun in the morning we got ready to go to London the next day. Melissa took a break while all the boys went to pick Grandma up from the airport to put together a little treasure hunt for dessert. The boys loved reading the clues and eating the gold coins and skittles at the end of our rainbow treasure hunt. We had fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day this year.
