Finally Done!

The day of Doug's graduation was busy.  We loaded our moving cubes in the morning and then went to graduation in the evening.  It was a very busy day but it was a very exciting day.  We were very grateful to be done with law school.  I don't think I ever felt like it was over until today.  Soon after we got to Texas, Doug was studying for the bar exam.  Today is the last day of the exam and now I feel like law school is over.  I won't have to tell Dallin he can't bother Daddy anymore and we won't have to have the typical conversation, Where's Daddy?  Daddy's studying.
Here are some pictures from our special day.  It was so wonderful to watch Doug get hooded and accomplish his long time goal of becoming a lawyer.  I am so proud of him.

After graduation we went to the Q-Shack for dinner, Doug's favorite BBQ in Durham.  It wasn't the nicest restaurant but they sure have good food.  It was a lot better than eating dinner on the floor at our apartment, pretty much everything we had was in the moving cubes.  After dinner we did give Doug his present while everyone sat on the floor.  We were grateful that our parents and Amanda could come celebrate our special day and help us move.
For Doug's graduation present I made him a photo book of my Duke campus photo project throughout law school.  I wasn't able to get it done before the move so he got to enjoy a study break the beginning of this month to enjoy his book.

I am very proud of Doug.  He spoils Dallin and Me all the time with love and attention.  Thanks for all you do for us, Doug.  We are very excited to spend a lot more time with him after today.  Hopefully we'll survive when Daddy has to go to work after Thanksgiving.
