We have loved spending more time with Doug lately. It has been so nice not to have to worry about studying and work. We have loved being able to see Daddy and have his full attention. If you ask Doug, I've put him to work since the bar exam, and to a very large extent that is true. He offered to lighten my load and after much discussion, I agree to let him help. It has been wonderful not having to do everything on my own. Doug helps with every aspect of our lives. We switch off days waking up with Dallin (which is nice because he has decided that between 5:30 and 6:30 is the perfect time to wake up). He helps cook during the week, which is nice because we don't really enjoy taking Dallin to restaurants and I need a break from cooking every once and awhile. He is a great cook and even treated us to a German meal the other day (pictured above), bratwurst, mashed potatoes, red cabbage, and veggies. It was delicious and I even impressed Doug by taking a second helping of red cabbage. We also split our household chores in half so we can have more time to play. It has been so nice having Doug around and willing to help, give me more time to myself and to be able to focus on Dallin a little more. I am truly spoiled. We are so excited to strengthen our marriage and family the next couple of months as we have more time together because his job doesn't start until after Thanksgiving.

Nice! I'm jealous! ;) You're not going to want him to go to work! I had Jake here this weekend and told him he can never go to work again! :) I guess we have to eat and all that, so whatever--I guess he can go to work. Anyway, sounds like you're doing well! Good to hear! :)
