Birthday Boy, Dallin!

Happy 3rd Birthday, Dallin!

We love having Dallin in our family.  He is such a good boy and brings smiles to our faces each day.  He learns new things all the time.  He loves to play, climb, jump, go outside, and sports.  His favorite toys are animals, cars, and his new house.  His favorite thing to eat is chips and salsa.  His favorite time of day is when Daddy gets home and tackles with him.  He survived his well care visit and is in the 75% for weight and 90% for height.  He is a healthy little boy even though he doesn't seem to like to eat.

To celebrate his birthday, Dallin went with Mama to the Heard Museum to see Dinosaurs Alive!  Dallin had such a blast.  He was a little nervous around the animated dinosaurs but he always wanted mom to take pictures.  He loved seeing the animals and snacks.  After the museum we went out to lunch at Subway.  Dallin loves cheese sandwiches and Cheetos.  We had such a fun morning.

Dallin's favorite part at the museum was the Dino Dig.  He had so much fun digging in the sand and playing with the dinosaurs.  He also loved covering himself with the sand.  He had a blast and played for an hour.  He was mostly by himself but he did have to share for some of the time.  He was having so much fun with the dinosaurs it was hard to get him to leave when it was time for lunch.

That night we went to Chuck E Cheese with a few friends for playing, pizza and cake.  He told me that he wanted a choo choo cake or yellow cake.  So I made the engine yellow and the rest was chocolate frosting.  I think it turned out cute and Dallin loved his choo choo cake, so it was worth it.  He LOVED his party at Chuck e Cheese and could have stayed all night if we had let him.  He had so much fun playing with his friends and opening some presents.

We ended the night at home and opened presents.  He loved everything!  His favorite things were his farm animals, medical kit, trike, and the fort/house I made him.  He was kind enough to play in his room while he was suppose to be taking his nap so I could finish sewing the fort together.  He loves it so much, he calls it Dallin's house and loves to play inside.  He even has made Dad and Mom get inside with him to play.
