While Doug was working on New Year's Eve, Dallin and I made a countdown to the new year and some noise makers. Dallin had fun helping me glue and color. He especially loved helping to feel the noise makers. He had lots of fun helping me blow up the balloons, as well.
We decided to Ring in the New Year at 8:00 so Dallin and I could get some sleep. We began our celebrations with pizza and watching the Duke game. Dallin loved putting the balloon on the computer so Doug couldn't have a good view of the game. Luckily it didn't take him to long to figure out that was a bad thing to do. We had a blast playing with balloons and noise makers. Doug tore off the countdown and Dallin helping with the last one. Then we had some sparkling cider. It was the first time Dallin had ever had carbonation, when we asked him if he liked it he told us it was hot and tickled his throat. We had a fun party even though I wasn't up for much partying. I was so excited to go to bed before 9 on New Year's Eve.
