Amos is 6 Months

Amos Jedediah is now 6 months and we LOVE having him in our family.

He weighed in at 19 lbs 15 oz. (90 %) and he is 28 3/4 inches tall (off the charts). He's a little chunk and very adorable. He loves to eat (a little obvious, I know) and he is doing very well with solid foods. He enjoyed rice cereal but it took him a couple of days before he liked oatmeal. We'll see how vegetables go tonight. He is rolling over a little bit, the last couple of days he has been rolling from back to tummy and then he'll cry because he is on his tummy. He has rolled from tummy to back, but lately he just prefers to cry on his tummy. This phase isn't very fun when he rolls in his sleep and wakes up made on his tummy. He is a great sleeper at night and is slowly getting better at taking naps.

On Dec. 30 he got his first tooth and the following week another tooth popped out. He has done pretty well with teething and we have only had to give him medicine a few times for teething. He is finally feeling better and no signs of ear infection or RSV at the doctor today for his well care visit. He loves to play with his toys and loves to put them in his mouth. He is getting better at playing in his exersaucer and will move around from toy to toy. He enjoys playing on the floor sometimes but it usually doesn't last long because his brother will roll him over or get mad because Amos is crying.
