I can hardly believe that my little miracle, once so small, is now 4 years old.
1 ... 2 ... 3 years have gone by so quickly and he has grown so much in the last few years.
He's now 4 and look how handsome.
Doug and I love being his parents. He is 100% boy and has endless energy. He loves sports, cars, helping mom cook, animals, reading, drawing, and so much more. He is a Sunbeam now and has been a bit shy about going to Primary. He doesn't like sitting in the front while mom and Amos are in the back. However, he is learning the Primary songs and Articles of Faith. He likes going to preschool and he especially loves the science projects they do. He can't wait for Daddy to get off work everyday and as soon as Dad walks through the door he wants to tackle, shoot guns or play basketball. When Daddy works at home, Dallin likes to be in his office with him. I am continually amazed by his imagination and the things he knows.
His well care visit last week was cancelled because of the ice/snow storm, but we were finally able to see the doctor yesterday. He is now 43 inches tall (95%) and weighs 42.5 pounds (90%). Needless to say he's a big boy and looks much older than 4. He was a little uneasy at the doctor and didn't like getting his shots at all.

He was very excited for his birthday. He wanted to have a Cars birthday party and Cars on his cake. We let him invite a few friends over for a small party and to have cake and ice cream. He had so much fun celebrating his birthday with his friends. He got to pick what he wanted for dinner, so off to Chick-Fil-A we were as a family. He loved playing and eating his chicken nuggets. When we got home we opened the rest of his presents from Dad and Mom and family that sent presents. He was so excited for everything he got (except for the cape I made him, he tossed it aside and said he'd wear it for Halloween). When he opened up a white dress shirt and tie, he took it to Doug and said "Dad, this is for you." I thought that was so funny. Once we explained they were for him, he was excited to wear his new clothes to church and look like his Daddy. He was so excited to get Frightning McMean (the Lightning McQueen monster truck) and the I-Screamer. He had them on his list since he saw Mater Tales and saw the trucks at Target. He plays with them all the time. He got a lot of games and LOVES to play them as often as we can. He got Curious George books on CD and his favorite one is Curious George goes to the Hospital. He had such a fun birthday.
Dallin really likes to wears his pjs and he also likes to dress himself these days, if you can't tell. He got a grill for his birthday and he loved grilling in the backyard with Dad. They had pajama day at preschool and he was so excited to wear his new Lightning pjs to school. They made a bird feeder with cheerios at preschool and he was so excited to hang it in our tree when he got home.
As these pictures show, he loves to have fun. He went surfing in our game room one night. He loves to play soccer in our backyard. He loves to play with his brother and his toys. He really likes to take pictures with Amos' camera. He lined up most of his cars one day on the ledge; he sure has a lot of cars.
We love you Dallin!
