We experienced a few snow days this year. Dallin was very excited to see the snow every time. He loves to play in the snow. Amos wasn't very excited about the snow. I did get a him to smile with Dallin for a picture, though. I'm sure he'll enjoy a little more next year.
Dallin was very excited to make angels and throw snow balls. He thought it was so fun to throw snow balls at the house. He really enjoyed throwing snow balls at me, especially when I tried to take a picture. Amos didn't like being put in the snow at all, he enjoyed it a little more when I held him but not much. We never let Amos stay outside in the cold for very long.
After 4 and half years of living in the south we finally experienced an ice storm. We didn't leave our house for 4 days. The first night Doug and Dallin when ice "skating" on the driveway. Dallin had a blast, he got pretty comfortable on the ice. He enjoyed having Daddy home so much during the week. Doug worked at home and Dallin would take his toys and play in the office as much as he could.
We just experienced ice for a few days, then a few days later we got 4-5 inches of snow. Dallin couldn't wait to play in the snow when he woke up. When Amos went down for a nap we went to play while Daddy was on a conference call. Amos didn't get to enjoy the snow, he wasn't feeling well. Dallin loved playing with mom in the snow, sweeping the snow with dad, playing with dad in the snow, "sledding" down the driveway, eating snow ice cream, making snow angels, and throwing snow balls. It was a lot of fun to have the snow, but it was nice the next day when it melted so we could get outside again.
