Utah

I wanted to see my family so the boys and I made a quick trip to see everyone. We had a lot of fun. The boys were excellent on both the flights. Amos and Dallin went to play with Aunt Lara, Blake and Sara while I a little shopping with my mom. Dallin was so excited to play with Blake again, the are instant friends when they see each other. You wouldn't know these two only see other a couple of times a year.

When most of the cousins were done with school we went to Monkey Island and the kids all kids had a blast climbing, sliding and bouncing. Amos even had fun playing with a little bus they had and crawling through a caterpillar. Amos didn't like when Brinlee tried to take him down the side though, maybe next time. Dallin was a different story, he had a blast running around with his cousins again. He loved climbing everywhere and jumping and sliding. After the kids had most of their energy gone, we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and everyone else to join us.

Blake and Dallin had a sleepover and so they were so excited to play together late into the night and first thing in the morning. I had a playdate with my friends, it was so fun to catch up a little and see some of my best friends again. The kids did well playing together and the weather was nice enough to play outside a little. We had a lot of fun. After lunch I went to get my haircut and a cute swimsuit. Poor Amos didn't like being left without mom so I hurried as fast as I could but enjoyed being away from my kids that I knew he would survive long enough for me to find a new swimsuit for this summer. After I returned to my kids, we took them to a farm and Dallin was so excited. He couldn't wait to see the baby animals and ride the pony. The kids were even able to help feed a couple of calves. After the farm the boys and I left my family and headed up to spend the evening with Doug's family. It was so fun to see them and Dallin had a blast playing with Grandpa outside.

In the morning before we left Dallin and Amos we able to attend the annual egg hunt my family does with my mom's family. Dallin collected his eggs so fast he kept trying to get more than he should. He had so much fun running around with his cousins at the egg hunt. Amos crawled to a couple of eggs and enjoyed playing with the eggs.

Dallin couldn't wait to get started on the egg hunt and he was very sad to leave all of his cousins in Utah. Lucky for me, even though he was sad to leave he was excellent on the airplane and was excited to run to his Daddy at he airport when we landed. Amos was so excited to get back to his normal surroundings especially his crib. I'm so glad we were able to make a quick and fun trip.
