While Daddy was grilling, the boys went swimming in our little pool and played in the backyard. We had delicious turkey burgers, grilled corn, potato salad, watermelon, a veggie tray and lemonade. It was fun to eat dinner in our backyard and play outside. The boys loved playing with the new big beach ball in the pool. The boys had so much playing and swimming together before dinner, and Dallin was excited to get back in the pool after dinner was over. After dinner we went to our old church building's parking lot to see the fireworks. While we waited for the fireworks to start we had a small FHE lesson about America. Dallin and Amos loved playing in the back of the Traverse. Amos especially loved cruising along the seat and found a corner where he preferred to stand. Dallin loved seeing all the people, went for a walk, and played with his hat and glo-stick. Dallin loved watching the fireworks and especially loved that they weren’t loud. Everyone loved watching the fireworks. On the way home we saw the fireworks from Richardson and we were able to lay on Dallin’s bed to watch those when we got home. It was a great ending to a wonderful evening.
