Utah 2011

Some pictures from Utah.

7/9- Shortly after we arrived in Utah, we went to the Steel Days carnival with Melissa’s family.  After we got back to Melissa’s parent's house we watched fireworks and Dallin played a little before bed.
7/10- We had a birthday party for Amos at Grandma & Grandpa Washington’s house.  We had cupcakes and homemade ice cream.  Amos was teething so he left the party early to go to bed.  That night Blake and Dallin had a sleepover at Grandma’s.  Doug and Melissa had fun playing Dominion with Melissa's sister and her friend before bed.
7/11- Melissa took the boys to have a playdate at a splash park with her friends.  After they got back we went to the cabin and we all had so fun playing and exploring around the cabin.  Dallin got to go on a four-wheeler ride to the lake and go fishing.
7/12- We ended up getting to stay another night at the cabin because the roads out were closed.  So we played, explored, and relaxed all day long.  The boys loved being around cousins and exploring the cabin.  Doug and Melissa learned how to play a fun new game, Settlers of America.
7/13- As soon as we got back to AF we went to get haircuts and got ready to go to Doug’s parent's home.  We went to Chick-Fil-A for dinner, went swimming at Grandma Bartschi’s, and had another birthday party for Amos.
7/14- That morning we met some of Melissa’s family at the Draper temple to complete some temple work for her Dad’s family.  After a wonderful experience at the temple we went went with Doug’s family to the zoo.  The boys loved the Dinosaurs, all the animals, and the train ride.  Doug’s friends came over to Doug’s parent’s house for dinner and catching up.
7/15- We played at Grandma and Grandpa’s house in the backyard and got out the pool.  Then that afternoon we headed up to Logan to stay the evening as a family.  We went to Bluebird Cafe for dinner, drove around Logan, and went for a walk around the temple.
7/16- We spent the morning at Utah State and enjoyed some Aggie ice cream.  Then we went to the park for the Bartschi family reunion.  When the reunion was over we stopped to see the Brigham City Temple on our way back to Doug’s parent's house.  That evening Doug and Melissa left the boys with Doug’s parents and went to Melissa’s cousin's wedding.
7/17- We went to church and spent the day relaxing.  Dallin and Amos played in the backyard while they made some homemade ice cream.  We were able to spend the day visiting with Grandma and Grandpa Hansen from Idaho.  That evening Grandma Bartschi, Sharon and Kelly came over help take family pictures.
*We all had a wonderful time in Utah.  It was fun to see everyone and spend time with family.
