Getting Ready for Chirstmas

We had a lot of fun getting ready for Christmas.  The boys had a lot of fun decorating the tree, visiting Santa, reading Christmas stories, watching Christmas movies, playing with the Nativity and Christmas toys. A few days before Christmas we had a sleepover with Dallin, Mom & Dad in front of the Christmas tree. Dallin loved falling asleep and waking up near the Christmas tree.
In keeping up with tradition we went and let the kids pick out a Christmas ornament this year and they came home with the same ornament.  They were excited to put Lightening McQueen on our Christmas tree when we got home.
We went to the Tree Lighting for our city this year.  The boys loved seeing the reindeer and Dallin loved the bounce house.
We always celebrate Nikolaustag, the boys liked putting the shoes on the fireplace after doing our advent calendar.  They enjoyed the chocolate they found in the found waiting for them.
Our cute Duke fans in front of the tree.
Amos had fun getting ready for Christmas.  He liked climbing on the step stool while the tree was getting decorated.  He looked cute in his Bethlehem clothes for our ward Christmas party.  He liked playing at the play area before we saw Santa.  He thought it was fun to help put candy canes on the tree.
Dallin liked playing in the interactive snow globe at the mall.  He loved all the Christmas decorations and couldn't wait to put them all up.  He thought it was so much fun when it started to "snow" at the mall play area while we waited to see Santa.  He thought it was so fun to get a little present in his kids meal and couldn't wait to open it when we got home.  He especially loved helping mom cut out gingerbread cookies for us to decorate.
