The boys had a lot of fun getting ready for Easter. Dallin loved decorating sugar cookies and Amos loved eating them. The boys had a blast coloring Easter eggs this year. Dallin did an excellent job and Amos didn't stop playing with his egg (he had orange hands for a few days).
The boys had such a great Easter this year. They loved getting candy, books and some bubbles. They each got a tie (but I forgot to take a picture of them ready for church). They loved hunting for the eggs they colored. We had a Family Home Evening egg hunt where we talked about the atonement, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge that we can be together as a family for eternity. We wouldn't be able to receive those blessings without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for each one of us. Easter is a wonderful time of year.
We had a lot of fun in April. Dallin went to a NASCAR race with his Dad and they had a great time. They boys went camping in the backyard one night. We enjoyed playing outside as much as we could. Melissa arranged for a trip to the fire station with some friends from church. The boys loved seeing the fire trucks and all the stuff fire fighters do.
The boys are becoming obsessed with bugs and looked for them all the time. Doug helped them catch a potato bug and the boys loved it. Doug saw a butterfly in our backyard and the boys loved watching it. Amos didn't want to leave the butterfly and blew it kisses for a while. The boys loved helping Daddy with the yard work out front and putting new dirt in our flower beds.
We celebrated Doug and Melissa's birthdays and ended the month in Utah.
