Amos is 2!

 Amos turned 2 years old, and is getting so big.  He is such a fun little boy to have in our family.  We love him so much.  He has the most adorable smile and is a very happy boy for the most part.  He loves his brother and loves to tackle and play with Dallin.  He loves to play with toys especially his cars, balls, and animals.  He loves to play outside, go swimming or any other water activity.  He loves to play and climb at the playgrounds.  He loves when Daddy comes home and he loves to tackle with him or dunk the basketball with Daddy.  He is continuing to say new things, my personal favorite is when he says, "Yeah, I do".  He loves to look for the moon and planes in the sky.  He loves to read books. We love having him in our family.  

 We had so much fun celebrating his birthday.  Doug took the day off and we went to the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science.  We had such a fun day at the museum.  We spent some time at the children's museum.  Amos loved the farm and water area but his favorite part was the fire engine they had.  He loved wearing the firefighter hat and driving the fire engine and sliding down the slide.  Dallin  had a lot of fun doing some of the hands on science activities.  

 When the boys were done playing at the children's museum and the fire engine.  We went to the nature side of the museum for the first time and we all loved seeing the animals, dinosaur bones/fossils, and gemstones.  We took the boys to the paleontology lab.  They were working on some fossils from Alaska and one of the volunteers brought out a nose bone that she had finished working on.  The boys were so excited to touch it. 

 Amos LOVES cars, especially Lighting McQueen.  When we asked him what kind of birthday he wanted he said cars every time.  Melissa made him a Lighting McQueen cake and he was so excited to see it when he woke up from his nap.  He loved his birthday and was so excited about everything.  We had pizza and grapes for dinner.  After dinner we opened presents.

He had so much fun opening his presents and he wanted everything opened so he could play with it right away.  He was excited about all his new books, his play food, and his truck and boat.  He really liked his bubble mower and as soon as Daddy had it put together he was running around our living room and kitchen.

We took the bubble mower outside and put the bubbles in it.  Amos had so much fun running around the backyard.  He was having so much fun playing with the mower that he didn't want to come inside for cake.  We finally got him inside and he had fun blowing out the candles on the cake and play with the Lightening McQueen from the cake.  When he was done eating his cake, Daddy brought out his last present.

He loves his new water table.  Amos and Dallin had so much fun staying up late and playing with the water table.  We had such a fun day celebrating Amos' birthday.  He had such a fun Cars birthday and he loved everything.  We love you, Amos!
