Doug and I put Dallin down for his nap Saturday afternoon. As we were in the living room we heard a lot of noise coming from his room. He was making so much noise that we both knew he wasn't going to sleep anytime soon. So we went in his room to find Dallin jumping on his bed, rocking his crib, and having a blast. Dallin has been rocking his crib back and forth and it ends up in the strangest places by morning or after a nap. He wasn't quite ready for a nap.

Dallin said a new word as were driving to Dallas. It has been hot and so we often say hot when we are outside. As soon as Dallin got in the car he looked at us and said "Hot". We laughed and said yes it is hot. The whole drive to downtown Dallin was in the backseat saying hot, hot, hot. I think it's so cute.

We had some family fun that night. We went to a Dallas Desperados (indoor football) game. We went with the law firm Doug was at. We were in a suite so Dallin was able to walk up and down the stairs and dance to his hearts desire without bothering anyone. Doug was able to catch one of those shirts they throw in the stands, he was excited about that. We had a lot of fun as a family.
