Halloween

*Sorry for the late Halloween post, I had problems with the pictures before our trip.
We had a wonderful Halloween.  It was so much fun!!  Aunt Amanda came to visit us and we loved celebrating with her.  We saved our best Halloween activities for Saturday so we could do them with her.  First, we enjoyed a yummy breakfast and then I made sugar cookies.  Dallin loved cutting them out and playing with the cookie cutters.
Then we carved and painted pumpkins.  Amanda and Dallin painted, Doug and I carved.  It was lots of fun but I think next year I should join Dallin with the paintbrush.
We decided to decorate the sugar cookies while Dallin was asleep and we had so much fun.  We saved some for Dallin to decorate when he woke up but he was more interested in eating the cookies then decorating them.
Dallin was Buzz Lightyear for Halloween this year.   He wasn't very excited to wear the costume so as soon as we put it on him we went over to our neighbors to let Dallin go trick or treating so he knew that when he wore his costume he got candy.  He went to our house and our neighbors.
We then went to our ward's Chili cook-off and Trunk-or-Treat.  Dallin had a blast and got so much candy.  He was so cute in his costume and was being really shy but very quietly he said Trick or Treat and Thank You.  At the beginning he was holding his bucket in his hand, halfway through he let it rest of his arm, then he made mom hold it, and shortly before we were back to our car Dallin wanted me to hold him.  We had so much fun and Dallin was so excited for Halloween this year.  As soon as I got out the Halloween decorations he went trick or treating every day with his toys.
