June & First Tee Ball Game

We've been busy this month, getting everything taken with the house.  Dallin and I pretty much hang out at home unless we go play somewhere inside, story time at the library or to the pool.  If I stay outside too long I don't feel well from being very pregnant and the heat.  So we have enjoyed watching movies, reading books and playing with toys.  Doug has been very busy with work, recruiting, and trying to get our house closed.
The first couple of weeks of the summer, Dallin had swimming lessons everyday.  He loved going to swimming lessons and his skills improved.  He's usually much safer by the pool and is getting better at kicking, using his arms, and putting his face in the water.  He did well at swimming lessons and did a good job listening to his teacher (for the most part).
Dallin was very excited for Father's Day and did a great job picking out his present for Daddy.  He also did well at keeping it a secret until right before Doug opened the gift.  He gave his Daddy a new tie for work.  We had a relaxing Father's Day.  Doug is a great Father to Dallin and works very hard to provide for our family and make sure we are his first priority.  Doug has worked extra hard this month, especially since I've been so worn out lately.  We love Daddy!!!
One little boy with a wild imagination!  Here is Dallin launching a space shuttle into outer space.  He is such a funny little guy.  He loves to play with his toys and he loves to go camping in his room.  Usually when he goes camping, he puts all his toys on the floor and covers them with blankets and then he gets under the blankets and plays with his toys.  We have to be careful when walking in his room at these times, you never know where things are.  He really likes to hide under things.  Today our end table in our living room was a dog house, he was the dog and he was chewing on a bone (aka 3 lb. weight).
Doug signed Dallin up for Tee-Ball this summer.  Dallin has had a blast.  He practices with Daddy sometimes at night.  He has gone 4 times and they had his first game on Saturday.  He did just a great job hitting the ball, running the bases, and playing in the out field.  He was very hot and needed a lot of water.  He loved playing defense and would try to get the ball every time the other team hit it.  He loves baseball and his skills are improving.
