* Our friend gave us a chair that they weren’t using and the boys love it. Amos loves playing on it so much one day when Dallin had a turn he got mad and tried to bite Dallin.
* The boys were sick at the beginning of the month so we stayed inside so they could get better.
* Amos celebrated his first birthday and he loved opening his presents and eating his cake. Amos has grown so much and it has been fun to see him learn new things all the time. He is such a happy little guy and smiles a lot. His favorite things to play with are books, remotes, phones, and sometimes he likes his toys. He still prefers to crawl everywhere and he will take a couple of steps every once and awhile, but he prefers to cruise along furniture.
* We had such a fun 4th of July, playing in the pool, grilling, and watching fireworks.
* Amos had his well care visit and is growing just as he should be and surprised the doctor by all the food he eats.
* We had so much fun seeing family in Utah. Dallin loved playing with his cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Amos preferred to stay close to mom but slowly got more comfortable with all the new faces.
* We had fun grilling dinners and playing or swimming in the backyard while it cooked.
* Melissa took the boys to the library for story time and Dallin was so excited to listen and pick out books to bring home afterwards.
* Dallin loves birthdays so we celebrated his half-birthday by going out to dinner, shopping, going to story time at the bookstore where he got to pick a new book, and then we got cookies for dessert before we went home.
* We took the boys to see Cars 2 and we all loved the movie. Dallin loved the movie and as soon as we sat down he asked “Where’s the popcorn?”. Amos didn’t want to sit for that long so Doug and Melissa took turns walking with him and stood to watch the movie.
* We made homemade vanilla ice cream to celebrate the 24th of July and Dallin had a blast picking which toppings he wanted.
* Dallin got a little too many sprinkles one evening and it made his ice cream turn gray so we made him a gray popsicle and he was so excited, he’s "always wanted a gray popsicle."
* Dallin started another session of swimming lesson and he was so excited to go swimming and practice afterwards.
* We had some work done in our game room and Dallin loved playing in his playroom with the couch and love seat in the middle of the room.
* Melissa took the boys to story time at the train museum and they loved it. Dallin loved walked through the train car and looking at all the things in the museum. Amos loved watching the model train go round and round.
* It has been one very hot summer so we have kept cool at the pool and playing inside.
