September 2011 Highlights:
*We went to McDonald’s for breakfast for one last family activity before mom and dad left on their cruise.  Dallin was excited to play and use the coupon he got to McDonald’s.
*Grandma Washington came to watch the boys for 6 days while Doug and Melissa went on a cruise.
*When Grandma came we went to Firewheel for shopping and dinner.
*Doug and Melissa left Sunday night for Miami and on Monday they left for a 5 day cruise to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, & Nassau Bahamas.  They had a blast relaxing and spending time together.
*Grandpa Washington was able to come and help Grandma on Thursday.  They were able to go to Cabela’s and Dallin’s soccer game.   The boys had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa.
*We went out to lunch with Grandma & Grandpa on the way to the airport.  We were sad to see Grandma & Grandpa leave.  We loved having them visit.
*Melissa and Amos have enjoyed having some one on one time while Dallin is at preschool.
*Dallin loves preschool!  He was excited to take his dolphin to his first show ‘n tell.  He was excited to dress up as a cowboy for his Western Day at preschool.
*We loved being able to play outside, having picnics, playing at the park and going on walks  more often.
*The boys get excited every week to go to story time, they love going to the library.  One week we were able to a puppet show and they LOVE getting books to bring home.
*We enjoyed playing in the rain and watching a Texas storm.
*We woke up early to watch the hot air balloons, unfortunately the weather wasn’t good so they couldn’t go up in the air.  The boys were excited to see the helicopter and we all were excited to stop at the Donut shop in the way home.
*Melissa took the boys to the pet store and they loved seeing all the animals.
*We had an exciting adventure to a Ranger’s game.
*We had a busy Saturday with a birthday party, soccer game, Maize Days, and the boys enjoyed spending an evening together while Melissa went to the General Relief Society Meeting.
*We had so much fun going to Maize Days as a family this year.  We had fun walking together to the booths, bounce houses, activities for kids, the food was good, and we especially loved the pony ride.
*Dallin and Melissa spent a couple of afternoons painting, Dallin loves his new treasure chest.
*Dallin and Melissa have started to read the Magic Tree House books together.
*Dallin had fun going to soccer practice and playing in his games on Saturdays and some week nights.
