We had a lot of fun as a getting ready for Christmas. Dallin had a wonderful time helping decorate the tree and getting out his nativity. Dallin really enjoyed Nikolaustag this year. He loved his treat so much he hid under the table to eat it before church so mom and dad didn't know he was eating it, but he got caught. He loved visiting Santa's village and although he wasn't excited about sitting on Santa's lap, he did. We made a big step this year with Dallin actually sitting on Santa's lap, he didn't smile but we could at least get a picture. He loved decorating sugar cookies and eating candy. He loved helping with the advent calendar every night, although he was a little confused that he couldn't decorate the whole tree at once. He also loved going to North Park mall to see the trains and Christmas decorations.
We decorated a gingerbread house as a family. We each took a side and decorated away. Dallin mostly ate the candy and had a very large sugar high.
