One of our favorite things about the holidays are the Christmas lights. We loved to drive around and look at lights. In North Carolina it's hard to find lights and so when we go to look at lights we have to drive a long way. Doug researched online to find the best light displays nearby, when he was done he had 4 places for us to drive and planned on about 2 hours round trip. So we decided since we would be getting back late to put Dallin in his pajamas for the drive. We went to a neighbor in Cary first, this circle has huge displays in every one's yard. We went there last year and liked it so much we went again this year. Then we went to another home in Cary and it was house and they had so many lights in their yard. I was amazed at how much stuff they had and all the land was filled with Christmas displays. Then we went over by the temple to see some lights and at this house they had lights, but even better every night for two weeks they have Santa's workshop with Santa. We would have taken Dallin to see him, but since the experience at the mall earlier in the day didn't go well, we just walked around to look at the lights. We went to a couple more houses and then headed for home. It was lots of fun to see all the lights and we were surprised at how much Dallin seemed to enjoy them. I thought for sure he would fall asleep in the car, but he was ready to look at lights all night long.
