At the beginning of December we took Dallin to the Santa train the Durham Life and Science Museum. Dallin loved riding on the train and seemed to do well seeing Santa. He looked a little nervous when Santa walked up to us, but he told him he wanted a hoop for Christmas. It was really cold but we still had a great time together as a family. Dallin loves to play with trains so he was really excited to ride on one.

Next, when we heard that Santa was going to be at the game on Dec. 17 we decided that we needed to take Dallin to the game. Dallin was fine with Santa as long as he wasn't too close. He didn't even like to be the next to Santa, Doug had to stand next to Santa or else Dallin would cry. Then, Dallin loved to play on the table in front of us before the game. He was having a blast climbing and playing on the table until Santa came over. He stood up and looked really worried, then we told him that he could get some candy out of Santa's bag and it was okay to get close to Santa.

Finally our last attempt to get a picture of Dallin with Santa. We waited in line for 2 hours and talked about how fun it would be to see Santa. He seemed excited about the idea until Doug tried to put him in Santa's lap. Then I tried to put him in Santa's lap and he would not let go of me. Dallin would not sit in his lap so these are the best pictures we could get of Dallin with Santa this year. Maybe next year.
