Myrtle Beach!

Sorry it's taken me so long to post these pictures. I know some people have been waiting for them, so here you go.

We had an enjoyable time at Myrtle Beach. The first night we stayed the condo and Dallin took it upon himself to discover every nook and cranny of the condo. His explorations only ended up with one broken glass bowl because mom and dad were to slow to get it away from him. Other than that his exploring was fine.

The next day we went to a boring meeting so we could get a gift card to the outlet mall. Then we stayed in the condo so Dallin could have a nap and had lunch on the patio. When Dallin woke up we headed to the outlet mall to do some shopping. We came home with some good purchases, such as: Doug got some much needed pants, I got a cute new dress, and Dallin got some new church pants. We got pizza for dinner to eat at the condo. Then we took Dallin swimming. He was so excited to get into his swimming suit.

The third day at the beach we went swimming before Dallin's nap. Then Dallin took a good nap and when he woke up we headed to Brookgreen Gardens. They were beautiful gardens filled with oak trees, sculptures, fountains and flowers. Dallin loved all the water fountains, he would just laugh every time he would see a fountain. He really loves being outside and thus enjoyed the gardens.

Brookgreen Gardens also had a zoo. We took Dallin to see the animals. It was a very small zoo, with only a few animals. We didn't get to see the alligators because when it is below 60 degrees they hide under the mud to keep warm. Dallin loved the birds, deer, otters, and other animals.

After the gardens we went to dinner. Doug and I enjoyed our seafood at the beach. Dallin got to eat goldfish (the cheese flavored cracker, not the common house pet) because he wouldn't eat meat. Then we went to the beach and played (the sun was setting so I'm sorry for the dark pictures). It sure was a beautiful sunset. Then we went to Broadway at the Beach and enjoyed walking around and eating ice cream.

The next day we drove home just in time for church. Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation at the beach.
