Fun in the Sun!!

On Saturday, July 12, we went to Lake Lewisville with K&L Gates (the law firm Doug is with right now). We rode on a boat, had lunch, and got to play in the lake. Dallin enjoyed seeing the ducks in the Marina and he loved riding on the boat. He did really good on the boat did good at not getting too close to the edge of the boat. The boat had a covered part where the drinks and food were along with some tables and the front of the boat was uncovered. They had some bean bags which Dallin got to sit in. After riding on the boat they anchored and put out ladders and big inner tubes. After lunch we all got in the water and went to the big inner tube. It had some water in the middle so Dallin had his own kiddie pool in the middle of the lake. Mostly he just wanted to get in the lake but we thought it best to keep him on the inner tube. When we were done and got back in the boat they prepared the boat to go back to shore. We were trying to get Dallin to drink some water so we could make sure he was hydrated, but he wouldn't so the nice lady attending to the drinks brought us over some ice water and gave Dallin an ice cube. She was his new best friend, he loved eating the ice and did so until it was gone. Now he loves it when I just give him an ice cube. Dallin was dancing to the music at the front of the boat and would go up and down the stairs (in and out of the sun). He had so much fun dancing, and even danced with the hiring partner, who thought he was the cutest thing ever.
