Dallas Zoo!!

Dallin and I went to the Dallas Zoo on Tuesday. We went with Daddy on the Dart into Dallas. We said goodbye to Daddy when it was time for him to go to work. We stayed on the train for a few more stops then we went to zoo. We got to the zoo a few minutes before it opened so I put Dallin's sunblock and shoes on outside the entrance. Dallin was so mad because he wanted to go inside the zoo. As soon as I bought my ticket and we went inside Dallin started dancing in his stroller to the song "Welcome to the Dallas Zoo" that was playing at the entrance. Dallin had so much fun at the zoo. He loved looking at all the animals. Some of his favorite places were, the kangaroo exhibit, and the gorilla house (I think because they have couches where you can watch the gorillas and the a/c was on so it was nice and cool inside, he loved jumping on the couches). I then took him to the Children's Zoo and he had a blast. He loved seeing the horses. He got to pet a bunny. I think his favorite thing at the Children's Zoo besides the stream was when he got to ride the wooden pony. Then he loved running to see the fishes. He also enjoyed looking at the sheep. He loved playing at the little playground and stream. At first I just took Dallin's shoes off when he went to play at the stream. Then I realized that wasn't a good idea and changed him into a onesie I brought and I let him get as wet as he wanted. We had a great time at the zoo that morning. Dallin fell asleep while we were riding the Dart back to Dallas to met Doug for lunch. We had a great time being able to see Doug during the middle of the work day.

He looks like he's such a happy boy. It looks like you guys have lots of fun things to do. I didn't realize you were in Dallas for the summer. I'll bet it's hot!
