Nursery!!!

Dallin turned 18 months and he gets to go to Nursery. We first took him on July 13 because Dallin was really bad during Sacrament Meeting. So I told Doug, we should just go and see if we can take him to nursery. They let us take him as long as I stayed with him. I was more than happy to stay with him because if he wasn't in nursery we would be walking around the building for the next two hours. Dallin did really good, he even helped put something on the board during the lesson. He had a great time at nursery that day and came away a mess. They served pizza as the snack and let them color with markers. He was very dirty, but he sure had fun. The next week Doug took him to nursery, again he did well. He sat still during music time, and built a tower. Last Sunday he was old enough to go by himself and he went to the nursery worker and did very well for the first part of Sunday School. Then we heard a very loud cry coming down the hall to the Relief Society room and in walks our little boy, just sobbing/screaming. She said that he did very well for the first little bit, he played with the toys and seemed to be doing well. Then they went into another room for snack time and he spilled his water. That was when he noticed that mommy or daddy wasn't there to help him and he lost it. My poor little boy was so sad. I took him back into the nursery to see if he would play while I was with him. He just started to cry when I went into the room so I took him to Sunday School with me for a minute, walked around for minute, then decided to try again. This time they were having sing time, his favorite so he did great sitting in the chair. Then we went into the gym and played with balls and the basketball hoop, he was in heaven, of course. Once we went back and I stayed with him he did fine we'll have to see what next week brings.

Micah and I just got called to be Nursery leaders in the younger nursery and we get to take Tage! I was really excited about the calling, because it wasn't like I got to enjoy church that much anyway. Now all we have to do is make it through sacrament and he is free to play now! I feel like I am doing my part in the ward and taking care of my kid, it's great! Dallin is doing a lot better then half the kids in our class. He will learn to love it without you!
