Dallin was very proud of himself and the mess he made.
Dallin is a very good eater if we can get him to try it in the first place. Often I have to introduce him to things A LOT before he will actually put them in his mouth and eat it. He has certainly gotten better the last little while. He would never eat rice but our friend Anna brought over some lemon chicken with wild rice when I came home from the hospital. Dallin ate the rice for the first time ever and ever since then I can get him to eat rice. Amazing! Also he has never eaten spaghetti before; he just wouldn't really eat any pasta with or without sauce. But a few days after I came home from the hospital he surprised us both by filling his stomach with spaghetti. I try to give him a plate with a fork every now and then to try and teach him how to use a fork or a spoon to eat with. He enjoyed the meal so much he was licking the pasta and sauce off of the plate. The camera was sitting right next to me on the table so I just had to take some pictures of my little boy enjoying his food, or maybe he was just enjoying playing with the plate. Either way it was very funny. I hope you enjoy these pictures.

Again, such a cutie. Jentri's generally not all that into eating, unfortunately. Although she is determined to feed herself, even if it goes in her eye while trying to get it in her mouth. She eats more when there's a mess, so I guess we'll just deal with the mess. What fun!
