Dallin at the Sarah P Duke Gardens. He loved looking at the flowers, watching the ducks, and being outside.

Dallin was upset with dad for not allowing him to walk in the pond.
We had planned to go up to Washington D.C. for spring break but changed our minds when I had to go to the hospital and didn't feel well when I came home. Considering our upcoming medical bills and all our car troubles the last little while we decided a trip probably wasn't the best idea. So we stayed home and worked on cleaning the house, Doug worked on catching up/getting ahead on things with school. We decided that even though we were staying home we needed to do something fun. So we made plans to go to the Museum of Life and Science here in town. I love taking Dallin here and wanted to show it to Doug.So Tuesday came and I went walking with with friends and on the way home I heard a noise in the car. I just thought it was nothing until I drove the car again and it was making the same noise. So I decided that it wasn't just in my head and made Doug drive the car around to see if he could hear the noise. Unfortunately we weren't able to go to the museum on Wednesday because we needed to take the car in to get looked at. Doug went to two different car places each telling him that it something different was wrong with it. Finally we were able to get the car fixed Thursday morning. Doug enjoyed joking with me that both his car and his wife were falling apart.
Doug made up for not going to the museum by taking me out for ice cream Wednesday night. Cold Stone sells low fat ice cream by the way. After the car got fixed on Thursday we took a family outing to the Sarah P Duke Gardens to make up for not being able to go to the museum. They were beautiful and spring is coming. The daffodils and tulips were in bloom. Dallin loved the ducks and just being outside.
