On Tuesday, February 19 we were able to get some free tickets to the Carolina Hurricanes hockey game. So we took advantage of the opportunity and headed to the RBC Center. We had an enjoyable family outing. At first Dallin was really scared and very worried about his surroundings. After a while he warmed up with his surroundings but wasn't very happy when his mom left for a minute and was a bit unsettled when his dad left to get some food. Towards the end of the game Dallin started to act more like himself and would clap and talk to the people behind us. We decided to leave the game early so we could get Dallin to bed and it didn't seem like we would miss anything exciting. Doug never leaves sporting events early and this is why. Right after we left they had a fight on the ice and made the crowd very excited and the Hurricanes scored two goals to tie up the game and made it go to a shoot out. Needless to say I highly doubt that our family will ever be leaving a sporting event early again.*We weren't able to take the camera so this is my favorite picture of Dallin from Myrtle Beach, this is the outfit he wore to the game.
