ERCP

The ERCP went well on Friday. They were able to find the problem and make a couple of small incisions that should put less pressure on my ducts, which we hope will keep me from getting pancreatitis again. Unfortunately as I was waking up from the sedative I was in a lot of pain which meant pancreatitis was just around the corner. The doctor that performed the ERCP told us that even though my numbers didn't show pancreatitis I had it and he admitted me into the hospital to help manage the pain. Early Saturday morning they finally admitted that I had pancreatitis, which Doug and I knew all along, but it was nice to finally have the doctors say it. Doug was able to stay with me at the hospital and my mom took care of Dallin at home. My pancreatitis was a lot worse this time and the pain was harder to keep in line. So it was nice to have Dallin with my mom so Doug could help me more at the hospital as it was really hard for me to move and do anything. I'm finally starting to feel a little better and I was able to eat some dinner so maybe I'll get to go home in the next day or two. Thank you to everyone that has helped our family through this time. We greatly appreciate everything.
