Dutch Oven Dessert

Two Sunday's ago, Dallin wasn't feeling good and so he got to stay home from church with dad.  I needed to teach the Sunbeams so I went to church by myself.  When I got home I found bread baking in the bread maker, dinner all ready for the grill, dessert supplies ready for the dutch oven, a happy sick little boy, and a wonderful husband who loves to make me happy.  I was so excited to get home and see Doug and Dallin.  It was so nice to come home and walk into the kitchen to prepare dinner and find it all ready.  I must admit I felt a little useless when I got home but it was nice to just be able to spend time with Dallin while Doug was outside cooking on the grill.  We've enjoyed having our grill and it's been really nice for Doug to be able and willing to cook dinner more often.  Don't get me wrong he's always been able to cook dinner for me, now he just is excited to try new things on his grill.  When we got our new grill we decided that we needed to use our dutch oven more often so pulled it out.  We've made a couple of desserts in it over the last month.  Doug made this peach-berry cobbler for me and it was wonderful.  Anyway, I'm grateful for my husband and all he does to help me and relieve my burdens.

YUM! That post just made me really hungry...and really NOT want to eat my nasty frozen lunch.

Bread baking...wow, Dougie! I'm impressed.
