Note from Doctors

The week that Doug started school was busy for us. First we took Dallin to his 18 month check-up, and he did great as usual. He is ahead of schedule as far as talking goes and the doctor was impressed with him overall. He is growing just as he should and is in the 75% for weight at 28.2 pounds, and 90% for height at 34.75 inches. He survived his shots with only a few tears. He was our little trooper and did great.

The next day we went to the doctor for me. Dallin was a little nervous when we went into the exam room, but I'm sure he was relieved when the doctor didn't touch him. Although he didn't really liked it when the doctor touched mommy. The appointment went well and we were told that I'm on the road to recovery and that it usually takes between 6 months to 1 year to feel completely better after having pancreatitis. We were hopeful that things will get better. Now if I can gain between 2 to 5 pounds in the next 5 weeks that will help show the doctor that my pancreas is healed. She was a little nervous that my body still wasn't maintaining weight. If I don't gain weight then I have to get some more tests done to see what is going on and why I can't maintain weight. Overall it was good and hopefully I can gain some weight because the options if I don't will not be very much fun.

I love all the new posts. Dallin is getting so big! Did you notice that Dallin and Doug have very similar facial expressions in all of the pictures?
