We Have a Job

In the beginning of July we received an offer to work for Haynes and Boone in the Richardson office. Richardson is located about 15 minutes from Dallas. We were extremely excited to receive the phone call and at the same time we were relieved that we finally had a job offer. Doug loved working at the Richardson office and I loved it when Doug came home excited to tell me about what happened at work. We really liked all the people in the office and we enjoyed spending time with them outside of work just as much as Doug enjoyed working with them each day. When we received the job offer we were working for K&L Gates which is also a really good firm in downtown Dallas. We enjoyed getting to know everyone at K&L Gates and Doug enjoyed the work that he did there. As the summer was ending and we were getting ready to move back to North Carolina we talked and went over all the pros and cons from each firm and we decided that accepting our offer to Haynes and Boone at the Richardson office was right for our family. We feel like Doug will be given a lot of opportunities to grow in his career. I love that Doug will be able to work a little closer to home, especially on those nights he'll be working late. The people were so family-friendly and make sure that their families come first. Not only were they family-friendly but they also shared many of our same values. We are very grateful for the Lord's guidance in our life as we made this important decision and always. We feel very blessed with the opportunities that we have been given.
