Last Week in Dallas

Our last week in Dallas was certainly a busy one.  Doug was busy with exit dinners and I was busy taking care of Dallin and getting ready for the move.  There are a lot of things that I will miss about Dallas.  I will miss the friends that we have made.  I will miss all the exciting things that we went and saw in Dallas.  I look forward to going back and making our home in Dallas.  Although there are many things I will miss, I was extremely excited to get back home.  I was excited to have all my kitchen gadgets, all our stuff, my own bed, and I was especially excited about my own washer and dryer.  It was so nice not to load my stroller with my laundry and Dallin and go the the laundry mat at our apartment complex.  I tried once to do the laundry without my stroller once and Dallin tried to jump in the pool by himself so that was the last time I didn't use my stroller.  It was not only hard to keep him away from the pool, it was hard to keep him close to me and carry my laundry back and forth.  I was so excited to do my first load of laundry when we got back to North Carolina.
